Easy Payment Link (email payment)

This link is designed so that a support agent can securely and easily charge a customer over the phone.

This operation is registered as MOTO (Mail Order / Telephone Order), which means it was a Non-In-Person, Assisted Payment.

Key Features

Assisted Remote Payment

Merchants generate a unique link that the customer opens on their own device to enter card details and complete payment. It’s ideal for situations where the customer isn’t physically present but has authorized payment via phone call, email, or chat.

Configurable Expiration Date

Merchants can set a custom expiration date for the link. If none is provided, a default duration is applied. This gives control over link validity and enhances security.

Cancellation Token

Each link comes with a cancellation token that lets the merchant void the link before it’s used—useful if the customer opts out or if you need to invalidate the link for security reasons.

Secure Transaction

  • All transactions generated by this link are digitally signed with a secure token.

  • They’re processed through a certified payment provider.

  • Full auditability of the payment flow is maintained.

Usage Flow

  1. Generate Link: Call the API endpoint POST /payment/easy to create the link and receive back a linkToken.

  2. Send to Customer: Share the link via the agreed channel (email, chat, etc.).

  3. Customer Pays: The customer clicks the link, enters their card details, and completes the payment.

  4. Optional Cancellation: Before use, the merchant can cancel the link by calling POST /payment/easy/cancel with the cancellationToken.

Considerations

  • Suited for MOTO (Mail Order/Telephone Order) payment flows.

  • Transactions start in an IN_PROGRESS state until they are completed or canceled.

  • The cancellationToken must be stored securely and never shared with the customer.
